  • 2013 Mahaska County Laborshed Survey and Anaylsis: (Note: Adobe Acrobat Reader may be needed to view and print this study of workforce characteristics.) The Mahaska County Laborshed Survey was released in February 2013 and is the most current Laborshed survey for the Mahaska Community. Information was analyzed and compiled by the Iowa Workforce Development Workforce Data and Business Development Bureau, Des Moines, IA. A link to the 2007 Laborshed Survey can be found at the bottom of this list.

  • Consider Iowa (SM): Consider Iowa was created to retain educated professionals by helping them find Iowa employment opportunities. Their mission is to provide the necessary tools to help students and former students with an AA or higher degree to brand themselves and obtain positions in our Iowa.
  • Iowa Workforce Development Office: Iowa Workforce Development contributes to the economic security of Iowa's workers, businesses and communities through a comprehensive statewide system of employment services, education and regulation of health, safety and employment laws. On-line filing and search services are available.
  • Iowa: A smart Career Move: This is an official web site of the State of Iowa to facilitate your job search in Iowa. Tools exist on the site for both employers and job seekers.
  • NationJob Network: NationJob is a community based, Internet recruitment solution, job board, and email service. Jobs are posted by state and are searchable by communities within a given state.
  • Oskaloosa Area Chamber & Development Group: The OACDG is not a civic club, charitable organization, or department of the city government; but a nonprofit, tax-paying organization which works for the community.
