TM Chair
“One Community, Many Neighborhoods, Together
Enhancing All of Mahaska -- Team Mahaska"
Team Mahaska is a continually evolving, informal group of citizens
representing the Mahaska Community. Participants share ideas,
brainstorm priorities, discuss concerns and look for solutions to
issues
that effect members of the community. Priority is placed on the
need
for ongoing communication between and among members of the cities,
county and school governemental entities, and the related non-profit
and
for-proft organizations that assist in economic development and
quality
of life development.
Our strength lies in our participants' desires to be involved
on a
voluntary basis, our ability to operate without need for ongoing
funds,
and our independence from any established elected body or membership
organization. That flexibity allows us to meet only when necessary
and
as often as needed. |
